About

Rock Foundation, Inc. is a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to the art and culture of Indigenous societies, especially those of North America (Turtle Island). We maintain collections of material culture, research libraries, literary and photography archives related to traditional cultures, and actively engage in educational programming and outreach with the descendent communities represented in our collections and archives. Rock Foundation’s collections are lent to museums and cultural institutions globally, for exhibition, scholarship and community access.
